Unsure: First, the typical public use of the term "flu" is a misnomer. "influenza", the real "flu" is primarily a respiratory illness and needs to be diagnosed through specific testing at the hospital or doctor's office. The coughing and fever could be from that. The vomiting is more likely related to what many describe as "the flu" but is more correctly called a viral illness. Best to see your doctor.
