Proper Diagnosis...: Lady says I have chronic heartburn and I just noticed bright red blood in my stool (not in the stool, just on the tissue after wiping) Chronic Heartburn probably not related to the red blood on wiping. Does one take Aspirin/ NSAIDs regularly? Hemorrhoids? Regardless the time to see the GI Consult is now to make proper diagnosis and Treat effectively.
