Anal fissures: Anal fissures can be a source of bleeding especially after large or hard stools. They are the most common reason for blood found on the tissue in childhood. A healthy, balanced diet that promotes daily bowel movements should included fresh fruits and veggies, plenty of water. Cut back on milk and grain products if you find your child is having hard stools.
