Lymph nodes vs muscl: You may have swollen lymph nodes, as there are many in the neck region that swell in response to viral infections and many other factors. Also neck trigger points are very common, as muscles become spasmodic and small tears from excess spasm form trigger points. If the swellings to away in a week or so, no worries. But, if they persists and become painful, see your PCP.
