How can i numb my finger at home in order to remove a piece of glass from the index finger?

If it is deeply: embedded - you wish to have this done by a medical provider. When was your last tetanus shot? I don't know of a good way to numb the finger with home supplies if there is any depth to the glass shard. Good luck.
