Have a lump on side of nose (10 mm x 5 mm). grew quickly (2 days), but has stopped. what could it be? dues not hurt. is firm.

Zit?: Likely a pimple, boil, or infected hair follicle or oil gland. Apply warm compresses to it for 20 minutes 4-6 times a day. Don't pop it and it might drain on its own. If it gets worse, really painful, spreading redness or you run a fever, please get seen right away. Facial infections can spread rapidly and be very dangerous. Since this is summer, if it itches, could be a bug bite, too!
