A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exostosis: Exostosis is a benign outgrowth of normal bone. It usually is noted at an early age and doesn't grow once you reach adulthood. It usually requires no treatment as malignant transformation doesn't occur. Infrequently an exostosis presses on a structure and requires removal. Of course this diagnosis is made after a physician examines you.
