i had stitches on my forehead and an allergic reaction to the tape. the tape is off and the skin is healing, but its swollen when i wake up in the am.

Possibly: The swelling could be due to the healing of the wound. If the swelling is from the allergic tape reaction, you could apply topical Benedryl. Ice will also help.
