I am taking zoloft (sertraline) for panic attacks. can i have a glass of wine every now and then since i am on that?

Best To Avoid: When taking medications such as zoloft (generic sertraline), it is recommended that one avoid the use of alcohol. Alcohol may increase anxiety, worsen depression, and facilitate panic attacks. Alcohol use can be quite counterproductive when it comes to treating mental illness. There are many who consume alcohol while taking meds like zoloft. Why take the chance that things may get worse?
