Zetop: appears to be the antihistamine cetirizine often sold in the US as Zyrtec. Individuals with kidney problems, including IgA nephropathy, are advised to discuss with their doctors. The dose should be lowered if your creatinine clearance is 10 ml/min or less. If your renal function is near normal, I think it would be OK to take, but probably best to review with your Doctor. Yes, generally safe: IgA nephropathy involves sensitivity to cold. There is no reason that you can't take zyrtec and similar anti-histamines.

Yes you can: Cetirizine is perfectly safe to take even in the context of IgA nephropathy. If your kidney function is severely affected (e GFR of <10 ml//min) please do not take more than a maximum of 10mg/day.
