Bites: Spreading redness is a concern for secondary infection and thus you should have these lesions examined by a physician or a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime apply an antibacterial ointment like bacitracin and to relieve itch or localized allergic reaction, take oral benadryl(causes drowsiness) or claritin(nondrowsy)
