Antibiotics ?: Not for a crown and only for RCT if there is an infection present.

Infection: Not prophylactically unless child has had joint replacement or cardiac surgery. Advisable if tooth was abscessed (infected) to aid healing. Not needed for crown. Discuss this with your child's Dentist or Pediatric Dental Specialist (Pedodontist), the professional that knows your child best.

Not usually: Usually Pulpotomies (baby teeth root canals) and stainless steel crowns are used to fix badly decayed baby teeth before they abscess, so no antibiotic is needed. If the dentist is trying to save an abscessed baby tooth (not often done, but possible under some circumstances) then an antibiotic would be appropriate both before and after a pulpotomy.
