A member asked:

Can you always see hemmorhoids on sigmoidoscopy? even small ones?

They should be able: Sigmoidoscopy is a direct view of the final part of your Gi tract; which is where the hemorrhoids are located. They will actually be able to see beyond the place where hemorrhoids are commonly found. Good luck to you.

Yes: As long as the doctor is using a flexible sigmoidoscope, they can see both internal and external hemorrhoids clearly, even small ones. Talk with your doctor about what they found. Good luck.
