I jst had my flex sigmoidoscopy. dr saw small ulcer in my colon, her post endoscopic diagnosis is 'colitid probably amebic'. if not amebic, what is it?

Many causes: it could be another infection. it could be due to inflammatory bowel disease (such as crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), it could be a cancer (unlikely at your age), it could be lack of blood supply to your colon. biopsies should help

Scope looked normal, ulcer found acending colon, and terminal ileum. chronic active colitis, crpyt abscess and acute crptitis. terminal illeum there was ulcer found, but says no pathological change from biopsy ulcer, and random ileum.ileum no inflam?
