Were the hemorrhoids treated? Even if the ones you had were treated, you could have developed new ones. It would be prudent to see you doctor for a proper in-person evaluation. You should take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia. Wish you good health!

"Hemorrhoids" are essentially hernias of the rectal wall by increased venous pressure in dependent (lower) areas , and can recur even if treated successfully. Constipation and poor diet will increase the venous pressure with the effort required for defecation, hence spontaneous bleeding from hemorrhoids will continue to be problematic.
