See doctor.: To me there are 2 issues: 1) you may need to eat slightly less due to less activity but too much fasting may deprive your body of the nutrients it needs to heal your ankle. 2) you may need to get your ankle examined to make sure nothing else going on apart from a sprain if you are still troubled. For both issues seeing a doctor licensed in your area will be able to give you specific advice.

NO to fasting.: 1. You need nutrients to allow your body to self-repair. 2. Considering reducing intake some - but ensure you are getting enough protein. 3. Get you ankle sprain checked out. 4. In the meantime find some forms of staying active that don't involve your ankle.
