Both arthritis and-: Trauma can cause this. Have your AC joint injected!

Varies: Varies somewhat. It is not uncommon to have arthritis of the Ac joint, part of a condition known as impingement syndrome if the shoulder, perhaps the exam aggravated it. I would not hesitate to discuss with your doctor.
