A member asked:

One of my clavicle bones sticks out at the end closest to my shoulder joint. i have no injuries, it has been this way for years. is there a problem?

Not likely: This usually represents normal wear of the joint at he end of the clavicle. If there is pain see your local doctor.

Bone spur or cyst: Chances are this is a small bone spur or cyst. Is it present on both sides? Perhaps you hurt as a child and growth plate fused this way. May be a benign cyst from the joint. By the time we're 30, most of us have degenerative changes of this joint. If it is nontender just make sure it doesn't get larger. If tender then see md and get xray.
