I was given a prescription for amoxicillin without giving a swab for strep. now that it's been a few days, it looks more like a canker sore on my right tonsil. should i keep taking the antibiotics?

See a doc: that's a good question I would see your doctor to see what the sore looks like and have a definitive answer it's kind of hard to say yes or no to continue antibiotics without seeing what that sore look like

Yes, continue taking: Yes, continue taking the antibiotic until the prescription is finished. Stoping an antibiotic early creates drug resistant bacteria that can make you sicker. Ulcers do not usually occur on the tonsils. Please return to your doctor so that they can reevaluate your situation.
