Get it checked: Encourage your partner to seek medical help in determining the reason for snoring. Often, a collapsed airway is involved and today, an overnight take home sleep test can provide critical information to determine if a more life threatning, life shortening condition of sleep apnea may be involved. It can maybe save his/her life!

Sleep study: Snoring, the noise that emanates from the soft tissues of the oropharyngeal walls during inspiration, can become a component of sleep apnea. The sleep study to rule out Obstructive Sleep Apnea is warranted. The simple MAD dental appliance may solve the problem if indicated.
