Abnormal echo - markedly: Markedly is not specifically as defined of a size terminology as mild, mild-to-moderate, moderate, mod-to-severe, severe. Typically would use markedly as a severe range descriptor.

"Markedly": is a nonspecific, subjective descriptor, but it would probably be equivalent to at least moderate or even severe.

Markedly: "Markedly" is not on that scale. It would probably be closer to severe, but you can tell by looking at the actual numbers on the report. Your doctor should go over the medical ramifications of your cardiomegaly. Good luck.
