After many years of moderate mitral regurgitation my last echo indicated moderate to severe regurgitation with left atrium 50ml/m^2. my left ventricle is mildly enlarged with mild lvh. what should i ask the cardiologist in 2 months. thanks?

You can ask "Is it time for a mitral valve replacement surgery?" but I think your cardiologist will dictate the treatment plan after a routine H&P and discussing the echo result. Good luck.
