One organ sufficient: It is possible to have a healthy baby with just one kidney. Women of child bearing age would be discouraged to donate a kidney, if there was any evidence that donating a kidney could have a negative impact on a woman's abiity to have children.

Yes: One extra blessing we have is some duplicate organs, like the kidney, where we can get by on one but have two. That includes having a normal pregnancy.
