Pregnancy and renal : Kidney problems can pose significant problems or challenges during pregnancy. The degree varies with the type of kidney problems or degree of kidney damage the individual has. I will suggest she sees a physician who will walk her through obtaining the right counseling and care she needs at this point. Good luck.

Acute renal failure: You daughter sounds as if she had acute renal failure (a). As she is "ok" now, it seems she recovered her kidney. If that is the case, have her tell her OB that she had a and let the o determine if she will be a high risk pregnancy. My guess it that the OB won't. Good luck.
