Common after surgery: It's common to feel washed out after nasal surgery for a week or two. The drainage from the nose is also a normal part of healing. The trick is to tell the difference between normal postop symptoms and a complication such as a serious postop infection. It's best to see your surgeon and let him or her decide what is going on.

Septum/turns: you should continue to follow your surgeon's postop instructions which may include a nasal rinse. Discuss these issues with your surgeon at your next postop visit if they persist.
