Can microperforations look like diverticulosis on a scan? had scan befor scope no diverticulosis. pain since scope and scans show diverticulosis now.

Diverticulosis...: ...when small and few may not be readily detected on abdominal "scan" but may have been something your colonoscopist commented upon at the time of examination. If so, they were pre-existing. Happy to address your concern and causes of post-procedure pain if you can elaborate on your before- and after-scope symptoms.

Diverticulitis ?: Usually diverticulitis ( inflammation ) is caused by micro-perforations in the setting of diverticulosis. You may have had the diverticuli but they were missed under the inflammation. A colonoscopy should be able to clear things up for you feel better.
