PCP : Best would be to follow up with your physician. In ER the focus is generally in recognizing life threatening conditions that need immediate attention and hospitalization. Any ER visit should be followed by a visit with your primary care physician who should be able to follow through with further tests as necessary and also to initiate treatment for chronic conditions timely.
