Tooth pain: I wish we could tell you without seeing you but unfortunately that's impossible. Sometimes there's just a "jolt" to the tooth & the pain goes away within hours or days. Other times there can be a problem with the tooth, from a simple fix to a more involved treatment. The only way to know for sure is to see your own dentist in order to determine that. Even if the pain goes away, could be a problem

See below : Most likely it is nothing, if you are concerned and the pain is lingering, contact your dentist to make sure that caries is not evident and no periodontal disease exists.
