Eval by dentist: It is possible that you may have bruise the periodontal ligament around the tooth or if it was something very hard that you bit on, you may have possibly fractured the tooth. Have a dentist evaluate the tooth if symptoms persist this week.

Computer: Your computer can't fix your tooth, your Dentist can. Your tooth may be fractured or it may have a cavity. The gum damage may be associated wth the tooth damage or it may be a coincidental separate problem. Please see your Dentist as soon as possible for an examination and necessary imaging, differential diagnosis, and appropriate treatment plan.
