Hard to say: Tubes are used more commonly in infants where they can bypass small,easily blocked Eustachian tubes and allow better middle ear function. Over time, the head grows,Eustachian tubes enlarge, & the benefit of tubes declines.You have not provided enough data to comment. Only an ENT with the benefit of your history & exam could tell if this would be appropriate.Get a 2nd opinion if needed.
