44 with septated complex ovarian cysts. left is 5cm, right is 12cm.regular gyno says she can do laparotomy but should it be done by gyno onco?

Consult a Gyn onco: Even though there is a reasonable probability that your ovarian cysts may be benign and that you do not have an ovarian malignancy or a cancer, it would be best to consult a Gyn oncologist who can offer you an adequate preoperative evaluation (tumor markers, etc..) and discuss the risks/benefits of laparoscopic/robotic exploration versus laparotomy and possible cancer staging procedures.
