Allow recovery time: You need to allow at least 6 to 8 weeks to recover from the ovarian cyst removal as there is usually a loss of red blood cells and nutrients needed for sustaining a future pregnancy. Moreover, waiting 3 months allow for at least one or two ovulation cycles. Fertilization of the first ovulation egg in less than 6 weeks would not be recommended due to possible genetic aberrational concerns.
