I have a ovarian cyst of 5cm on my left side. the gynecologist prescribed provera for 3 months. after completing this its been a month later. i have pain in my right side as well and bleeding. my gynea can only see me in july. is it a problem?

Ovarian cyst: Provera is a synthetic progesterone, and will not affect an ovarian cyst. Your cycles will be affected and not always regular, as progestins can inhibit ovulation. If you finished the treatment, your cycle may resume, and bleeding will occur. The pain may occur with another ovarian cyst on the right. Oral birth control pills may control the formation of ovarian cysts. Ask your gyn provider.
