Unlikely: Sore throat is not a symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning. Chest tightness, nausea, headache, tiredness, dizziness, and confusion are the symptoms to look out for. Carbon monoxide is odorless and not visible. If there is ongoing concern a carbon monoxide detector would be helpful, go to the smoke detector section of a home supply store.
