Usually no: Most nerve conditions (usually sciatica) are not picked up on a knee mri. There can be certain nerve problem (common peroneal nerve) that may be picked up on a knee mri.

Almost never: Pain is a subjective sensation in your brain, and the cause of pain is sometimes hard to determine. Very few MRI studies of the knee will show a specific nerve injury.
