A member asked:

Do the knee mri shows if there's a nerve problem ? and can a nerve problem cause a constant knee pain for a year , as i went to 7 orthos and no effect

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MRI won't show it!: Even the best MRI will not show a nerve problem unless you have a giant tumor of the nerve. MRIs only show big things. If you have constant knee pain, an orthopedic surgeon good at diagnostic assessments and exam testing should be able to help you. The most important thing is a good physical examination and a good clinical history. Diagnostic testing is only to confirm what the examiner suspects.
