Went to dentist for general 6 monthly cleaning. dr didnt clean along gumline. she cleaned only where she saw tartar. must cleaning be done under gum?

Ask your Dentist: All tarter above and below gum line should be removed. Roots of teeth should be glass smooth and gum tissues inflammation free. If you are unsure as to the efficacy of the treatment you received discuss your concerns with your Dentist, of seek a second opinion.
