Sensitive Gums: And recession. Could be a localized periodontal issue. You'll need to be examined by a local dentist for a proper diagnosis.

Gums: Gum recession usually means that there is also underlying bone loss. Can be due to gum disease, localized infection, or tooth malposition. See you Dentist. (S)he will determine if referral to a Periodontist is required.
