I'd be worried...: I'd be worried that your poor oral hygiene is allowing serious consequences. Please schedule an appointment with a Dentist for evaluation of your lesions, a professional cleaning, and comprehensive oral hygiene instructions.

Suspicious "sores": I would advise you to have the "sores" examined by any dentist or dental specialist (e.g. oral surgeon, OFP), to help you with a diagnosis and treatment, if needed.

Worry won't help: But an exam will. A dentist may be able to make a diagnosis, prescribe something for comfort if appropriate, and help you manage this. Sometimes the cause is trauma (slipped toothbrush or errant chip) but often it is apthous ulceration or reaction to a chemical irritant. If you are concerned or uncomfortable, get it checked out.
