The wrist widget: is a clever little device which helps stabilize the wrist. It may help pain from triangular fibrocartilage complex injury/other tendonitis associated with gripping, weight bearing, wrist rotation/extension. Four years of symptoms is chronic; I don't know how much the rest provided by this device will help. I also don't know if surgery would help after this long. Orthopedic hand specialist needed

Could try biologics: Would agree that a chronic tear would be treated without surgery and doubt that bracing will resolve your pain. Could try ultrasound guided cortisone injection to insure this is the reason for your pain. If so, then biologics (platelet rich plasma or bone marrow concentrate) injection would be next option.
