While intrusive: thoughts are not listed as a common side effect of citalopram/Celexa, since you have never had this problem before, your medication, in my mind, should be considered guilty until proven innocent.Discuss candidly with your prescribing doctor.Since the Celexa seems to be working well, perhaps the intrusive thoughts can be tolerated.Or perhaps consider lowering the dose and adding another in low dose
