I am experiencing mouth sores/pain for 3 months, they've gotten better over time. i get like ulcers and random swelling on my tongue. not sure why?

Part of same virus?: You should have more symptoms if it's viral. Do you have a fever? rash? (On the inside of the mouth, perhaps?) There are many possibilities - herpangina, herpes stomatitis, even some diseases for which immunizations exist (measles, e.g.) Did you get all routine vaccinations?
