Not sure of Question: If you have aphthous and/or herpes the palliative treatment is the same. Hot salt water rinses (1tsp salt/10 oz water) 4-5 times/day,7-10 days. Herpes outside the mouth will benefit from Zovirax (acyclovir) or similar topical. See your Dentist if you get herpes, as there are immediate treatments which help if taken right away. If herpes,you are contagious, so keep away from oral contact with others. Good Luck
