See your dentist: This recurring problem needs to be evaluated by your dentist. In addition to causing you pain and discomfort, the chronic irritation of your mouth can lead to bigger problems. Please make a dental appointment as soon as you can.

Cheek biting: Two issues- first see your dentist to check for sharp or rough spots on your teeth as well as your bite to explore dental reasons for cheek biting and if there's anything he/she can do to prevent this. Second- it's like any other habit- it requires awareness, acknowledgement and desire to stop. If there's an anxiety or emotional component, speak to your physician for a referral to therapist.
