May be related: Most people have very mild expressions of nf1. Arm pit freckling is one manifestation and may be isolated without developing any other manifestations. Freckling or small spots associated with nf occur on parts of the skin that are not exposed to sunlight people who have chronically exposed armpits to sun and sunburn may have freckling.
