A member asked:

I have nf1 could it cause feet to tingle ans sensitive finger tips?

Maybe: If all 4 extremities are affected would mean that neurofibromas involve major nerves in them (unlikely but possible) or you have compression on the back part of your upper spinal cord. But also possible is that you have metabolic issues causing peripheral neuropathy such as diabetes. Obviously you need to see a neurologist.

Yes: I have several patients with nf1. You can have neuropathic pain in feet and hands.
