Not the case: 'Throat closing' is a symptom for many disorders including severe allergic reaction, but won't be the only symptom, can it happen in theory, may be, but in real life, severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, usually has other associated symptoms too, can be depressed respiration, reduced blood pressure, wheezing, or the rash and swelling of soft tissues (angioedema).etc. keep epinephrine shot handy
