Metopropol has on 2 separate occasions caused me to start wheezing and tight feeling in chest/throat area. what is in that pill that causes this allergic reaction? both times symptoms start in 3 days go away in 3 days after go back to toprol 50mg?

Metoprolol may worsen pre-existing asthma or chronic lung disease. Not an allergy but you should not be taking. Stop now and see your doctor for an alternative.
