Throat swells : Edema, or swelling of the throat is one of the symptoms of major allergic reactions. If this is due to an allergic reaction it can worse interfering with breathing which could be fatal. You should immediate contact you physician about further evaluation and the possible need for emergency epinehrine, ie ei-pen.
