Yes: Antihistamines help, steroids, avoidance of inciting agent/allergen. One thing to stress is ensuring that this was an allergic reaction, as well as the severity of it. Just to stress: anytime there is airway involvement - any shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, stridorous breathing - this is a life-threatening allergic event & you should always seek immediate emergency care & evaluation.
